Introduced by Ningxia Road Maintenance Engineering Technology Research Center, the asphalt fingerprint recognition technology can detect the project entry asphalt, which can reliably identify the quality of the matrix asphalt and ensure the quality of the project entry asphalt.
The fingerprint recognition system used Fourier transform infrared spectrometer collect asphalt infrared spectra to ensure asphalt samples’ precise content of molecular structure and specific chemical construction. The results will be compared with asphalt standard samples infrared spectra in cloud database. It will rapidly identify the asphalt brand and prevent asphalt mixing, adulterate and shoddy. Comparing the supplied samples with construction site using asphalt, we will find out whether the asphalt fingerprint information is same or not. Meanwhile, compare with traditional test and detection methods, the technology has the advantages of higher identify accuracy and less human disturbance. The whole testing process only takes 5 minutes, greatly improving the test and detection efficiency, and market prospect is very broad.
In the next step, Ningxia Road Maintenance Engineering Technology Research Center will carry out absorption, transformation and secondary innovation of this technology, and gradually promote and apply it in Ningxia. It aims to further strengthen the quality control of asphalt and provide strong technical support for improving the quality of pavement engineering.
